The special thing about the Port wines of Quinta do Infantado is that they are predominantly less sweet than the Port of other brands. This gives them more power in the flavor, which is not muddled by the sweet content. The Port wines of Quinta do Infantado have therefore the flavor description medium-dry.
The 2007 Vintage Port is dark in color, with youthful, fresh aromas of red berries, spices and chocolate. The palate has rich, ripe aromas of black cherry, strawberry and mocha, supported by fine textured tannins and fresh acidity. The elegant long finish gives plum, spice and licorice complexity, with a touch of vanilla from maturation in oak barrels.
